u shouldnt. u should get a better shampoo garnier is full of wax and a glue like product in your hair. it wont help it will make it worse. there is a shampoo called oragnix its oraganic smells great and works amaing get one for dry or damaged hair. if u are buying garnier u probaly dnt want to spend to much on shampoo or i would recommend something else. and if u dnt use condinter now make u start because that will help with the tangles.

Maybe you might not want to use garnier try use John Frieda Collection.You have to buy shampoo and conditioner separately.
